World's Largest Crocodile Caught in Philippines
A massive saltwater crocodile weighing one ton (1,075 kg) has been caught by villagers in a town in the southern Philippines. dozens of villagers and experts ensnared the male crocodile after a three-week hunt. At 21 ft (6.4m), it is thought to be one of the biggest ever caught alive. The crocodile killed a water buffalo in an attack witnessed by villagers last month and was also suspected of having attacked a fisherman who went missing in July. It could be one of the largest crocodiles to be captured alive in recent years.

About 100 people had to pull the crocodile, which weighs about 2,370 pounds from the creek to a clearing where a crane lifted it into a truck. This biggest crocodile was placed in a fenced cage in an area where the town plans to build an ecotourism park for species found in a vast marshland in Agusan, an impoverished region about 515 miles southeast of Manila. villagers were so happy that they would be able to turn the dangerous crocodile.

Doggie Dumbo: Harbor- Dog With The World's Biggest Ears
Guinness World Records has named Harbor for him the biggest ears on the planet. His left one measures 12.25 inches while the right is longer at 13.5 inches. The breed was developed to hunt raccoons, with the long ears said to help by sweeping scents towards the nose. But Harbor has had a lifelong struggle with his colossal ears, frequently tripping over them as a puppy and rolling down the stairs.
According to Guinness World Records 2012, Harbor’s ear-span is greater than the height of the world’s shortest man, Junrey Balawing, who is 23.5 inches tall. Harbor takes the new title from Tigger (13.5 inch ears), a bloodhound from Illinois, who sadly passed away of old age two years ago.
Harbor's ears are also wider than the smallest road-legal car, which is 26 inches wide, and you could comfortably fit the world’s shortest dog, 6 inch long Brandy, who is also from the US, on each of Harbor’s ears twice.
Longest Word In The World
Sometimes we are thinking about what is the longest word in the world. and I asked myself as it may be the longest word in foreign-languages. There are lots of longest words available but i think the real longest word should be meaningful and still used by people.
So finally I got it and we can technically consider this word as a longest word in the world:
Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
This is a longest word by 45 letters which refers to a lung disease caused inhaling silicon dust particles. Research has discovered that this word was originally intended as a hoax. It has since been used in a close approximation of its originally intended meaning, lending at least some degree of validity to its claim.
I found one of the longest place names.
Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu
It's a name of the hill in New Zealand which translates into English as "The brow of the hill where Tamatea, the man with the big knees, who slid climbed and swallowed mountains who is known as the Land Eater, played on his nose flute to his loved one. At 85 letters, it is one of the longest place name in the world. But local peoples typically called just "Taumata" for ease of conversation.
The longest place name in the United States is: Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg
It's a name of the lake in Webster, Massachusetts which 45 letters long. It means "Englishmen at Manchaug at the Fishing Place at the Boundary".
People sometimes ask whether a DNA string can be considered as the longest English word. For example below is the so longest word. It contains more then 1900 letters.
MethionylglutaminylarginytyrosylglutamylserylleucylphenylalanylalanylglutaminylleucyllysylglutamylarginyllysylglutamylglycylalanylphenylalanyvalylprolylphenylalanylvalythreonylleucylglycylaspartylprolyglycylisoleucylglutamylglutaminylserylleucyllysylisoleucylaspartylthreonylleucylisoleucylglutamylalanylglycylalanylaspartylalanylleucylglutamylleucylglycylglycylisoleucylprolylphenylalanylserylaspartylprolylleucelalanylaspartyglycylprolythreonylisoleucylglutamiylasparaginylalanylthreonylleucylarginylalanylphenylalanylalanylglycylvalyltheonylprolylalanylglutaminylcysteinylphenylalanygllutamylmethionylleucyalanylleucylisoleucylarginylglutaminyllysylhistidylprolylthreonylisoleucylpriIylisoleucylglycylleucylleucylmethionyltyrosylalanylasparaginylleucylvalyphenylalanylasparaginyllysylgyycylisoleucylaspartylglutamylphenylalanyltyrosylalanylgutaminyllcysteinylglutamyllysylvalylglycylavlylaspartylserylvalylleucylvalylalanylaspartylvalyprolylvalylglutaminylglutamyllserylalanyprolyphenylalanylarginylglutaminylalanylalanylleucylarginylhistidylasparaginylvaylalanylprolylisoleucylphenylalanylisoleucylcysteinylprolylprolylaspartylalanylaspartylaspartylaspartylleucylleucylarginyglutaminylisoleucylalanyylseryltyrosylglycylarginylglycyltyrosylthreonyltyrosylleucylleucylserylarginylalanylglycylvalythreonylglycylalanylglutamylasparaginylarginylanylalanylleucylprolylleucylaspaaginylhistidylleucylvaylalanyllysylleucyllysylglutamyltyrosylasaraginylglycylphenylalanylglycylisoleucylalanylprolylaspartylglutaminylvalyllysylalanylalanylisoleucylaspartylalanylalanyglycylalanylalanyglycylalanylisoleucylserylglycyserylalanylisoleucylbalyllsylisoleucylisoleucylglutamyyylglutaminylhistidylasparaginylisoleucylglutamylprolyglutamyllysylmethionylleucylalanylalanylleucyllysylvalylphenylalabylvalylglutaminlylprolylmethionyllysylalanylalanylthreonylarginylserine
It’s the scientific name for Tryptophan synthetase, which is a protein containing 267 amino acids. But technically it's does not qualify as a word. They're regarded as chemical names rather than genuine words in the sense of meaningful items of vocabulary. We don't tend to regard these terms as proper 'words'.
Here are some of the long words from Oxford English Dictionary which are highly technical.
otorhinolaryngological - 22 letters

Jose Mestre After Surgery
Here I have good update about Jose Mestre. As I mentioned in my old post about "Jose Mestre - the man without face”, who had 12-pound tumor that covered his most of face
But Now Jose Mestre is adjusting with his new look after surgery. The life-threatening 12-pound tumor was completely removed by Dr. McKay McKinnon that covered most of Jose Mestre's face. 55 year old Portuguese, is now 5 kilos lighter and looking handsome with human face.
This is after doctors in Saint Joseph Hospital, Chicago performed radical surgery to remove the extra weight growing on his face. It took the doctors three months to successfully do the whole procedure.
The tumor which started growing when Mestre was only 14 years old was already affecting his sight, his breathing and much of his sleeping and eating activities that he could have died had it not been for the operation. The growth on Mestre’s face was so huge that he was more known as “the man without face.”
Jose Mestre after surgery and spending three months in Chicago and undergoing four facial surgeries, finally he has a chance to lead sort of a normal life because before he felt that, even though he never chose to, but he was the center of attraction wherever he went.
His sister Edith Abreu has cared for him over the years and been with him throughout the surgeries. Mestre says without her, he would not be alive.
