Indian Girl Playing With King Cobra Snake

Just 8 year old Indian girl eats, sleeps and plays with King Cobra snake. This little charmer calls these King Cobras her best friends, even though she has survived three venom filled bites from them. Villagers in Ghatampur, Uttar Pradesh, India, run in fear when they see eight year old Kajol Khan wandering the dusty streets with her deadly friends wrapped around her neck.

Kajol's father, Taj Mohammad has worked as Ghatampur's snake catcher for the past 45 years.
He has already passed on his skills to his son Gulab, 28. But now it seems Kajol, the youngest nine, is keen to join the family business.

Since Kajol's friendship with the killers began she has been bitten on her stomach, her cheeks and most recently her arm. She was seriously ill but made a full recovery. 'It hurts when they bite me but they don’t mean it,' she said. 'I get a little frightened when I see the blood but my father sorts me out. He rushes into the forest and comes back with the medicine.' Kajol said: 'I have a lot of fun with the cobras. It hurts when they bite me but sometimes it’s my own fault because I tease them. It’s quite funny. I don’t like school. I much prefer working with the snakes' she said.

Highway Passes Through Gate Tower Building

Did you ever seen the highway passes through a building? It's happened in Gate Tower Building at Osaka in Japan. That's one of the most amazing facts in Osaka from the Umeda Sky Building observatory was this famous skyscraper traversed by a highway.

Surprisingly, there is no connection between the two structures, the highway passes between the fifth and seventh floors of this building like a tunnel, wrapped in the noise protection walls. The side of the Gate Tower Building simply opens up like a mouth to release traffic coming off of the Hanshin Expressway. Futuristic-looking and against all classic notions of creating high rises, the Gate Tower Building is actually the result of a compromise between the Japanese government and landowners who had staked a claim on the land back in the mid-19th century.

The land was owned by the Suezawa Sangyo Company, which in 1983 started to plan an office building. However, the land was also included in the Hanshin Expressway plans for the highway construction, so 5-year-long fruitless negotiations took place. In 1989, because of a similar issue in Minato-ku, Tokyo, the building codes were changed to allow the development of buildings and highways in the same space. In the end the project from Tokyo was abandoned, so the Gate Tower Building from Osaka, finished in 1992, became the first building in Japan having a highway passing through building.

Biggest Helicopter In The World

This is the worlds biggest helicopter at the Dease Lake in British Columbia. It is to be used for taking mining equipment and cargo out to a new mine called Galore Creek. It is owned by a Russian company. It is called the Utsky. The chopper couldn’t land at the air strip at Bob Quinn Lake because it wasn’t a paved area so it had to land in Dease Lake until the landing site north of Bob Quinn could be inspected. Apparently this chopper’s wash will pick up and fling rocks, up to 12 inches in diameter, around like leaves.
